Bavarian lakes and rivers
Bavaria is famous for its many beautiful lakes and rivers. In and around Munich you can find a wide number of lakes and rivers that are worth a visit.
It doesn`t matter if it is summer or winter time, the lakes and rivers always offer fantastic leisure activities.
Most of the lakes have a very good water quality and therefore you will see the German residents swimming , waterskiing, surfing or sailing or just sunbathing.
In winter the smaller lakes can be completely frozen and people spent their free time ice-skating, playing ice-hockey or Bavarian curling.
The rivers are perfect to go for a walk, refresh yourself or sunbath in summer.
