The Olympia Shopping Mall opened in 1972, the year, when the Olympic Summer Games took place in Munich. Back at that time, shopping malls where still rare in the whole of Germany.
The shopping mall itself, which is simply called OEZ by most Munich residents, got rebuilt and modernized after the years and now is one of Munichs most famous shopping places.
Located in the north of Munich it is Bavaria´s biggest shoppping center and even received the 'ICSC-European Center Award'.
The mall itself offers a great number of differents shops and stores of all kind. More than 50 interessting events, such as auctions, festivities and small fashion shows take place here.
The parking garage offers 2400 parking spaces for the visitors.
